i participated in Twin for free Ornela ( web,) and the twin bead that they send me, I could do this set of necklace, ring and earrings. I liked it a very soft, and beautiful color, gives many possibilities for the beading. I love them!.

He bordado un poco , pero no he avanzado demasiado, espeor avanzar mas esta semana, además me entretuve en este anillo, no seguí patrón alguno, me lo inventé, todo comenzó con unos rhinestone que tenía hacía mucho tiempo guardados, apliqué la base cuadrada, y encima los rhinestone, y salió este anillo,me encanta por que realmente tiene bonito color, y se puede usar a diario..

thinking of the onyx ring .. I use another stone, and chose the amethyst. I liked the result, it is very smooth and appears to be extracted as is the stone mother.
Pensando en el anterior anillo hecho con onix..pensé en usar otra piedra, y seleccioné la amatista. el resultado me ha gustado, es muy suave y parece ser extraida tal cual de la piedra madre.

ring ring!, ok sounds like a bike ... but I've been doing rings to learn different techniques and use different materials, the peyote stitch it is more difficult to me. Experimented with a bit of Onyx, the stone is not uniform, but I like the result, the feel of the stone is very soft, to break a little the black color, put on the front colored Czech faceted crystals smoked (4mm) to give the image of the rock crystals born.

ring ring!, ok suena como bicicleta...pero he estado entretenida haciendo anillos para aprender diferentes técnicas y usar diferentes materiales, he de dehcir que el punto peyote es el que me es mas dificil. experimenté con un poco de Onix, al ser una piedra no es uniforme, pero me gusta el resultado, el tacto de la piedra es muy suave, para romper un poco el color negro, puse en la parte delantera unos cristales facetados checos color fumé (4mm), para dar la imágen de cristales naciendo de la roca.

I am still embroidering the HAE, but do not saturate i do something different from time to time, there is little time for my hobbies these days because we had to study for school test (helping my daughter), and prepare a costume to my dausghter for the performance in the school.I returned to my crystals, had few of them, I have to find a store that sells them at good prices.

aún estoy bordando el HAE, pero para no saturarme hago alguna cosa diferente de vez en cuando, hay poco tiempo para mis aficiones estos días, ya que hubo que estudiar para exámenes (ayudar a mi hija), y preparar un disfraz para la actuación en el cole, como cierre de este año....he vuelto a mis cristalitos, tenía varios guardados y sos los estoy usando, tengo que encontrar una tienda que los vende a precios buenos.

and finally a few months ago I bought this brooch, but did not know how to finish it. so I used some Anchor Artiste metallic thread, and this is the result.

"Heather" (V.S.), mistakes, and kitchen...

here is "Heather" form Victoria Sampler, level four, single cross eyelet pulled and hemstitch (?), everything was fine until I got the center of the embroidery, I made a mistake, cut a strand of fabric that did not correspond, but I realized when all four corners were already finished, so I had to modify it all, in the corners instead of embroidery satin point, I made a dove eyes, the rest if that is what the kit said .... lesson learned, do not cut strands to double-check that everything is aligned, and never when you are tired ....

Acá está heather, todo fue bien, hasta que llegué a los motivos del centro del bordado,por que cometí un error , corté una hebra de la tela que no correspondía,pero me di cuenta cuando las cuatro esquinas estaban ya terminadas, así que tuve que modificarlo todo sobre la marcha, así que en las esquinas en vez de bordar punto satin, hice un dove eyes, el resto si es el que decía en el kit, ....lección aprendida,no cortar hebras hasta comprobar dos veces que esté todo alineado, y nunca cuando se está cansada....

A few months ago I buy a new book , which appeared some very nice bags, the book is: "Pretty Homestyle sew" (Tilda). and here the first bag I made, the fabric have embroidery mice and tomato pincushions, so I put the ornament to the bag one tomato pincushion .. the bag is the property of my daughter, so I'll do another, but the fabric is different, with tiny hearts.
Hace unos meses llegó a mis manos un libro tilda, en el que aparecían unas bolsas muy bonitas, en el libro : sew pretty Homestyle. y acá la primera bolsa que he hecho, la tela lleva ratoncitas bordadoras, y pincushions en forma de tomate, así que el adorno que le puse a la bolsa,es un tomate pincushion.. la bolsa se la quedó en propiedad mi hija, así que yo me haré otra,pero la tela es diferente, tiene corazones pequeñitos.

y acá otra finalización, usé de nuevo el diseño de it's daffycat para los lados de el tarro, la tapa estaba dañada, así que en vez de tapa,lleva en el interior un cojincillo...

Has been so long since the last time i stitch a freestyle emboridery, and ordering my stuff I found this little kit so I started to embroider, as hesitant ... but it has beautiful colors .

Actifry "Croquetas"

Mucha gente que tiene al actifry trata de hacer croqeutas, pero a muchas se le rompen, o explotan, a nosotros nos pasó lo mismo, con las primeras croqeutas todas explotaron, éstas últimas quedaron mejor, no se aprecia el tostado en las fotos,son de móvil sin flash, y de noche..pero quedan muy buenas,y sin aceite. Cómo se hace? : se sacan las palas de la actifry, se ponen las croquetas y el aceite de oliva, pero en spray, cada 5 minutos se abre la actifry y se remueven las croquetas..hasta completar 20 minutos..y listo, las croquetas qeudan tostadas, casi sin aceite, y no explotan.. y en cuanto a bordado,continúo con el hada burbuja.

el cumpleaños de mi marido es en septiembre 5, pero ya tiene en casa su regalo de cumpleaños, él quería una actifry, que casi no usa aceite, y cocina principalmente con aire caliente, y ya la ha probado,las patatas quedan geniales, y ayer probó con algo nuevo,, con langostinos, le puso aceite de oliva(una cucharadita de té), perejil, ajo fresco y algunos trocitos de cebolla,los dejó descansar en ese preparado unos 20 minutos y luego los puso en la actifry y en 12 minutos estaba listo, acá el resultado,usé el móvil para tomar la foto,así que no hay flash, y no se aprecian bien los colores,los langostinos estaban de un color anaranjado oscuro, lindos y deliciosos!!!.

I bought two new feet for my sewing machine. a hemming and another for quilting. I do not know how to sew, I'm just learning. The legs of the machine I bought at http://www.sewingpartsdirect.com/ ... were sent on 11 August and arrived on August 18, very fast, considering that the trip was from USA to Madrid, Spain, a very good service fast and safe.
compré dos patas nuevas para mi máquina de coser. una para hacer dobladillos,y otra para acolchar. Yo no sé coser, apenas estoy aprendiendo. Las patas de la máquina las compré en : .http://www.sewingpartsdirect.com/..las enviaron el 11 de Agosto,y llegaron el 18 de agosto, muy rápido,considerando que el viaje era desde USA a Madrid-España, un servicio muy bueno rápido y seguro.

Well today I started to test the performance of hemmer foot .... and something weird happened, i twist the wire! .. I changed the thread tension, put oil, changed thread. and after several attempts, something happened and began to work well, why?.., no idea ..
Pues hoy me puse a probar el funcionamiento de la pata de dobladillo....y algo raro sucedió,se enredaba el hilo!..cambié la tensión del hilo, puse aceite, etc. y luego de varios intentos,,algo sucedió y empezó a funcionar bien, qué ,,ni idea..

The furniture had a white cap, (recycled piece of furniture), the original was broken, but it looked strange, so I used some vinyl, and added a piece of kitchen countertop tha nobosy uses, is great to cut it , painting, etc, and is cleaned with a damp cloth, so all recycled, a corner to work.

El mueble tenía una tapa blanca, reciclada de otro mueble, el original estaba roto, pero se veía extraño,así que usé un poco de vinilo, y añadi un trozo de encimera de la cocina que sobró,de esos que se peude cortar en él, pintar, etc, y que se limpia con una paño húmedo, así que todo reciclado, una esquina para labores .

yesterday i star to stitch this bracelet. is nice, but in the back i must to sew a ribbon,,a soft fabric, because the metallic floss is a litle rough..i feel rough in the skin..

A happy dance!! i finish the Lanarte project: Flowers form Orient, i love th Fabric form the kit, lovely color, the weather is cold, very cold,the good thing is most helpful to embroider. It is gratifying to go ending the UFO. Now is time to stitch my father's boat, and the box with unicorns for my child.
He terminado el poyecto Lanarte! : Flowers from Orient, me encanta la tela que traía el kit, el clima es frío, muy frío, pero lo bueno es que ayuda a bordar mejo que el calor del verano. i have a new project, Flower form Orient. Lanarte, and here is the WIP.
Tengo un nuevo proyecto: Flower form orient, de Lanarte, y así va avanzando:

this weekend was the Bicentennial of the Independence of Chile, and to celebrate, I made at home a typical dish of Chile, is called "Empanada Chilena"is a dough stuffed with ground beef, onion, spices, a piece of boiled egg and an olive. all were eaten!
Este fin de semana fue el Bicentenario de la Independencia de Chile, y para celebrarlo,hice en casa un plato típico de Chile, se llama "empanada Chilena" es una masa rellena con carne molida, cebolla, especias, un trozo de huevo duro, y una aceituna. Ya no queda ninguna! :D

and here is!! Honor Thy Needle :D was fun to stitch, have a lot of mistakes, but, i like it :D. Is the first time that i do a pyramid, i hope do more in the future, and do it better.

y acá está, Honor Thy Needle terminado!. fue divertido de bordar, tiene un montón de errores, pero me gusta el resultado, Es la primera vez que hago una pirámide etui, espero hacer más y hacerla mejor.

at last, i finish the ornie 2, of the Thy Honor Needle :D
He terminado el ornamento 2 del Thy Honor Needle :D
y otro anillo, esta vez usé cunbs swarovski,biconos de 4 mm, y mostacillas mill hill.
and, anothe ring, this time i use swarovski cube, bicone 4 mm, and mill seed beads.
